They are non-stick coated and precision ground so that cuttings do not stick to the blade. Use the pivoting, slim cutting head to cut individual branches in a 60-degree position. In addition, the pivoting head gives you a good view of the action. If branches get caught in the tree, you can simply pull them down with the pull-off hook at the top of the handle.
