We are pleased to introduce the 200 Series, the next generation of ISC Rigging Pulleys.
Our Rigging Pulleys are designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom, at the ISC North Wales factory, where we have been producing industry-leading safety components and "Solutions in Metal" for over 50 years. This RP248 fits up to 14mm rope.
When ISC began this project, they wondered, "What's next?" How could they improve our industry-leading Rigging Pulleys? They knew their clients loved the pulleys' strength and dependability, as well as the immensely popular SpringLock locking system. So the crew rose to the occasion and improved these features.
ISC had to entirely redesign the pulley plates from the ground up to achieve the astonishing increased strength of the 200 Series Pulleys. They bent and redistributed the material in the hot forged high-strength aluminium frames using cutting-edge stress analysis technologies to drastically change how they operated under load and maximise strength.
This was then combined with a one-of-a-kind axle/frame interlocking design with heat treated hardened stainless steel axles, which lowers the inherent inclination to deform or flex under excessive loads. ISC have been able to create pulleys that are up to 150% stronger than their predecessors and are designed to resist even the most difficult rigging projects with ease.
The locking mechanism was the next test; how might ISC improve it? The new Patent Pending "SafeLock" mechanism enhances the dependability and ease of use that their customers have come to expect from ISC pulleys. The new SafeLock locking mechanism maintains the rapid action of a SpringLock while preserving an incredibly low profile design.
