The Petzl Vertex Vent is a very strong and durable, hardshell helmet. Popular with outdoor professionals, Tree surgeons and industrial high level access professionals. Built to industrial standards, the hard shell design of the Vertex Vent is a more durable and impact resistant alternative to the lightweight, hybrid ABS shell/Expanded Polystyrene foam helmets that have become the norm in recent years. The helmet is designed for daily, hard use and as such will suit professionals, groups and those who are hard on their gear. If you wish to buy this as a complete Arborist Climbing Helmet, please purchase 1 of the types of MSA earfmuffs, plus an MSA Carrier & MSA Visor. Otherwise helmet will be supplied as UNIT ONLY.

Six-point mesh liner conforms to the shape of the head for improved comfort. Shock absorption achieved through deformation of the outer shell.
CenterFit adjustment system ensures centering and optimal stability of the helmet on the head.
Ventilation holes with sliding shutters allow the ventilation to be adjusted as needed from the outside.
Side slots for mounting hearing protection.
Inserts for accepting a VIZIR face shield.
Slot for mounting a PIXA headlamp.
Four clips for mounting a headlamp with an elastic headband.
Chin strap designed to limit risk of losing helmet during a fall (strength greater than 50 daN)
