High-Torque 25.4cc Commercial Engine

High-reach hedge trimming places additional load on the drive mechanism due to the increased shaft length and drivetrain friction. The HCA-2620ES-HD's 1.0kW commercial-grade engine generates the torque required to power the 536mm double-sided cutter blade through dense hedges and heavy growth while maintaining consistent cutting speed and clean, professional results.

One-Handed 135° Articulating Cutter Head

The heavy-duty magnesium gear head features an ergonomic one-handed locking lever that allows operators to quickly adjust the blade through 10 locking positions. The 135° articulation range makes it easy to trim flat hedge tops, shape vertical hedge faces and cut low ground-cover vegetation without changing working position.

7° Off-Axis Drive Shaft Design

The drive shaft connects to the cutter head at a 7-degree angle, positioning the drive tube away from the hedge face. This clever engineering provides an unobstructed view of the cutting line, helping operators maintain greater accuracy while producing straighter, more consistent hedge finishes.

Operational Ergonomics & Commercial Usability

With an overall machine length of 2,440mm, the HCA-2620ES-HD provides an effective working reach of more than four metres, depending on operator height. This extended reach allows professionals to safely maintain tall hedges, boundary screens and roadside vegetation while keeping both feet firmly on the ground.

The rear-mounted engine acts as a natural counterbalance to the articulating cutter head, creating excellent machine balance during operation. When used with the supplied shoulder harness, operator fatigue is significantly reduced, allowing for greater comfort and productivity throughout long hedge trimming sessions.
