The robust 6.5 HP Honda GX200 engine powers the C7. a simple starting engine of industrial grade. To make sure the C7's capabilities are correctly matched with the Honda GX200's power output, we and Honda have carried out a thorough engine match testing exercise. This guarantees the chipper's and engine's strong performance for an extended period of time.
The C7 does exceptionally well in terms of self-feeding. A self-perpetuating inertia is created as the 12.5 kg cutting disc revolves at 2850 RPM. The 130 x 150 mm infeed opening quickly and efficiently sucks foliage into the machine thanks to the draught created by the winged cutting disc. The user can load chips into a trailer or stockpile thanks to the exit chute's height of 780 mm.
Designed and made in New Zealand using the best materials, these products are built to last a lifetime. The engine is protected against shock loading and runs smoothly thanks to the Soft Start Technology's engagement of the belts between the engine and the cutting disc.
Longevity is provided by the steel construction and the enduring powder coating with zinc shield rust protection.
By removing two bolts on the housing, simple access is provided for routine maintenance and servicing. The two A8 modified steel knives can be sharpened up to ten times and have an amazing lifespan. Simply removing the belt guard will allow access to the belts.
