The 17" 10 bladed cylinder, made of hardened and ground steel, provides an extremely fine cut that is sharp and clean. A tidy cut causes less harm to the grass plant and reduces the possibility of illness. For the serious cylinder mower user who needs cutting heights below 20mm to obtain a bowling green finish (the 6 blade is your all-purpose cutting cylinder for 20mm and above), this cartridge is an optional accessory and is great. With this cartridge, you must frequently cut—at least twice a week.
With a greater clip rate (131 cpm) than the 6 blade cylinder (79cpm), the 10 blade cutting cylinder mows as short as 6mm, producing a more uniform finish.
