The 20" Dethatcher, which uses thicker, wider-spaced tines to puncture the dirt to a maximum depth of 6mm, is the most aggressive cartridge.
From extremely overgrown lawns, the Dethatcher efficiently eliminates the heaviest thatch layers.
In order to collect and remove layers of thatch, including dead grass and leaves, plant stolons, and weed growth, the machine vigorously penetrates the soil's surface. Lawns become thicker, healthier, and more lush as soon as this is eradicated since they are less prone to disease. Moss shouldn't be allowed to grow on lawns where there is a higher danger of disease.
Excessive thatch and moss cannot be eliminated until there is enough moisture available for the lawn to recover in late spring or autumn. This enhanced soil penetration allows for greater access to nutrients, water, and air for the grass roots. In comparison to the Verticut cartridge, the dethatcher cartridge removes twice as much material.
