The 27" Powered Scarifier is designed to remove thatch, dead moss, and other surface debris. The tungsten tips on the blades in this cartridge extend their lifespan.
The carefully created scarifier helps keep your sports surface healthy and disease-free by allowing air, water, and steel blades to remove the unwanted thatch from the soil surface.
Due to the fact that our scarifiers cut downward rather than across, they also encourage tuft thickening. This 'pruning' of the grass leads to the formation of more shoots, a thicker, healthier turf, and a more luxurious playing surface.
It's important to remember that because the scarification process is so severe on the grass, your lawn may at first appear damaged and unsightly.
