Allett 34" C-Range 6-Blade Cartridge Description
The 34" 6 blade cutting cylinder's blades are of the same grade as the cylinder's 10 blades.
Steel that has been ground and hardened makes up the bottom blade and cylinder of the six blade quick-change cartridge.
Since there is more space for the grass clippings to move through, a mower with fewer blades will frequently manage longer, thicker, or damp grass better. A slightly sharper cut can be achieved by using more blades because more cuts can be made over the same distance.
The best cylinder will largely depend on the type of terrain you intend to traverse. The 6 blade, for instance, would be more than sufficient for a football pitch because growth can be longer. The usage of a 10 blade would be more appropriate on golf greens where the grass needs to be kept shorter (about 3mm final cut) and evenly chopped.
