Gransfors Sharpening Stone #4034 Description

With a grain structure created to best meet the needs of both coarse and fine grinding, the Gränsfors Sharpening Stone is made of ceramic abrasive. While the finer, 600-grit side is used for fine grinding, the coarser, 180-grit side is utilised to repair hard wear damage. The stone is durable and robust due to its grain structure. A ceramic sharpening stone can be created with more exact grain size than a real stone can. The stone has a flattened, rounded shape with bevelled edges that taper to a spherical shape. Since this side often experiences the most wear, it accounts for two thirds of the thickness. The stone can also be used dry but is typically used with water. There is a rubber casing for the sharpening stone.
