Cutting Variation (R) - The R variations of STIHL hedgecutters are designed specifically for large volume cutting. They feature a cutting blade with wide tooth spacing and longer tooth height. The gearing allows a high cutting power at a medium stroke rate. The R variations provide the possibility of cutting thicker branches and completing clearing work faster.

ERGONOMIC, COMFORTABLE WORKING - The rotatable multi-function handle enables precise and comfortable cutting with your hedge trimmer, when working sideways and at head height. It can be rotated 90° to the left and right, and so is also suitable for left-handed and right-handed users. This means the tool is always in the most ergonomically effective position in your hand.

FOR OPTIMAL HEDGE CUTTING. The double-sided cutting blade facilitates optimum hedge cutting: vertically, horizontally and in corners. Thanks to the double-sided cutting blades, you can effectively trim or prune your hedge, as well as thicker branches.

Once you have attached a Smart Connector to the tool, after one-time commissioning it will record the tool’s operating hours and transmit them to the STIHL connected App via Bluetooth. In addition to displaying the operational time, the app also provides an overview of all necessary maintenance, ensuring that you do not overlook important upkeep and that your tool is always in a ready-to-use condition.
